How WeightlessRx works

A plain explanation of how WeightlessRx connects you with a licensed clinician, what happens with your intake, and how your medication reaches you.

Last updated: May 4, 2026 Reviewed against: Current obesity-medicine and GLP-1 treatment guidelines Category: Trust

1. Intake

You complete a structured medical intake (typically 90 seconds) covering your weight history, current medications, allergies, relevant conditions (thyroid, pancreatic, gastrointestinal), pregnancy status, and your goals. The form is HIPAA-compliant and only used for clinical evaluation.

2. Clinical evaluation

An independent, U.S.-licensed clinician in our third-party provider network reviews your intake. They evaluate eligibility against current obesity-medicine guidelines, screen for contraindications, and may message you with follow-up questions. The clinician — not WeightlessRx — owns the prescribing decision.

3. Prescription decision

Outcomes are one of:

Members are charged only when a prescription is issued and dispensed.

4. Pharmacy fulfillment

Approved prescriptions are sent to a licensed U.S. compounding pharmacy partner. The pharmacy compounds and dispenses your medication under state board of pharmacy oversight, USP standards, and federal regulation. Orders ship in discreet, temperature-controlled packaging within 3–5 business days, free of charge.

5. Ongoing support

You have unlimited messaging with your clinician through the WeightlessRx app for dose adjustments, side-effect management, and clinical questions. Members also get access to GLP-1-specific fitness, nutrition coaching, and meal planning. Refills ship on a set cadence, with check-ins built in.

Canceling or pausing

You can cancel or pause at any time. Cancellation requests received at least 5 business days before your next billing date stop the upcoming charge. Email info@weightlessrx.com or text +1 (307) 441-3679 with your account email.
